Corny Times

This week on the Sassy Cheryl Challenge Blog the assignment was to make either an Autumn or Halloween Card. I joined Pauline"s of Create with TLC Holiday Club back in August. One of the Word Arts in the downloads was Corny Times. One of my friends on one of the forums said that her child renamed candy corn, cornies(I will be calling them cornies from now on). When I saw this image from Sassy Cheryl, I knew I had to go with the Word Art. It was a sign. Now if I can stay away from the real cornies, I'll be okay(I have absolutely no resistance to most sweets and some even less than others).

One thing that Sassy Cheryl isn't lacking in her store(not that there's anything really lacking) is holiday images. She's got lots of fun ones for Halloween and Christmas especially. Be sure you check them out.

Now on to the details.

Image: Candy Corn Girl from Sassy Cheryls colored with Copics and Spica pens.
Paper: Card stock on hand and striped paper is from the Holiday Club at Create with TLC.
Die Cuts: free clip art from ABC Teach imported into MTC and converted to a cut file and cut with my Cricut.
Word Art: Holiday Club at Create with TLC. The WA is colored with my Spicas and some white stickles.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Halloween even if it is a month and a half early.

  2. Very cute. I love that image and you have coloured her so nicely. I remember candy corm being such a treat when I was a kid but now that I am grown up, I can't stand how sweet it tastes. Good thing because it would just add more to my waistline and I don't need that.
    Hugs!
