At Last a Sassy Cheryl Card

I know, I know, it's been a while since I participated in a Sassy Cheryls Challenge, but I'm in this week. This week's challenge issued by DT Kim was to create a tent card. Since all that entailed was basically making the card open from the bottom rather than the side, this was as easy or as complicated(aperture) as you wanted it to be. I chose EASY!!!!
The image I chose is called "First Day of School" and can be found at the Sassy Cheryl Store, HERE. She's colored with Copics, of course. I printed the papers from a digital paper kit called Summer Spirits by Goodness & Fun that I got from My Grafico. They were retiring the kit and had it on sale for a phenomenal price(and I do like a bargain). The colors are so bright and cheerful, and I know that I will be using them again.

I've had this card finished except for the sentiment since Friday. I just couldn't do a back to school sentiment when everyone is just getting out, so I wanted an end of school sentiment. Someone who shall remain unnamed but whose initials are SC has been nagging me about the card, so this morning creating a sentiment in Photoshop and finishing this card took top priority. I'm including the word art, so be sure to click on it and save it, if you want it.

  1. Well, giving the initials, SC doesn't really do anything for being 'unnamed', now is it?!?! Funny!
Well, it was certainly worth the wait. Just LOVIN' this little sweetie! I just colored her up this past week. I'm SO behind on the colored images.

  7. Gorgeous card. My digital papers always look washed out and not so vibrant when I print them on anything other then photo paper. Any hints?
